Aqua and White Note Cards
I’m an addict. I don’t think there is another word I can use to describe my inability to pass by a pretty paper stack. This time I found some at Winners, so they were a fabulous price. Did I NEED more paper? No. Did that matter? NO. Into my cart. Sigh.
But LOOK at these cards which were created from one of the pieces of paper. THREE cards from one piece of paper - is there any wonder I can’t turn down a paper stack? I honestly hope I don’t get a card order for a little while as I don’t know if I can bear to part with these beauties anytime soon.
For two of the cards, I simply folded the aqua patterned paper over a white card, added some adhesive and a (Martha Stewart) butterfly punch. There wasn’t enough left to do it a third time, so I cut the leftover strip down and attached it to a piece of card stock for stability. Some foam tape and another punched butterfly and the third note card was finished.
Pretty pretty pretty. Love them.
At least I’ve stopped hoarding my papers — I could hardly wait to get home from the store so I could start on these note cards. :-) I made a couple more this weekend using different papers, and need to make some specialty cards this week so will use a couple of the other paper stacks I picked up. They had a nice variety and as I said — I couldn’t beat the price. At least they didn’t have any Christmas papers - whew!
Thanks for stopping by today.
