YAY - I have my first .svg freebie for you … it’s a card panel with a scallop on one side, that can easily be resized for an A-2 card front. I did size it in Inkscape to 5.25″ x 4″, but it came out quite a bit larger when I imported the .svg into SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) and I had to resize it again there. I know there is a trick to Inkscape, and I’ll figure it out someday! Link to download the file is below my card sample.

Scalloped panels are just a nice addition to a card, and if you don’t have to try to line up punches - all the better! Here is a card I made with the scalloped panel (sized as above) and turned on it’s side with another one of those gorgeous K&Co chipboard butterflies:

In fact, all the decorative paper is by K&Co as well!

To celebrate the success of our wonderful Kindred Spirits series at E-scapeandscrap.net, I have another hybrid card for you. In case you missed yesterday’s post (which included a FREEBIE), here is the 2nd FREEBIE I have for you over at E-scapeandscrap. Check the “fun and free” page … it will only be available for a limited time. I left the tag blank, as you have more options that way. You can use your fonts and computer to add words to the tag before printing the card panel. Or you can stamp words on the tag after printing the panel. Or no words at all - layer chipboard swirls, silk flowers etc … change it up!

Here is a sample of how I used 2 of the printed panels … one with word-art and one with stamped words:

This is one of the hybrid cards I came up with using my Botanical Digital Scrapbooking kit. I really like the quote, so did it up as word-art to use on the card. It’s been a long while since I offered you a FREEBIE, so this A-2 card panel is my Blog FREEBIE gift for you!!  Click HERE to download.

I printed the A-2 sized card on matte photo paper, cut it out and attached these resin stickers I’ve had for awhile. The colours were perfect! I wrapped the decorated panel with ribbon, then attached it to the front of a folded white card and rounded the corners to mimic the rounded corners on the printed card panel. You could attach a couple of silk or die cut flowers, chipboard swirls - any number of things to this panel. Be sure to upload your finished creations to our gallery at E-scapeandscrap.
